U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship returns

Bringing a successful year of action-packed livestreaming to a close, the U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship will return after a two-year hiatus on December 3 and 5 to the west coast.

Hosted by California Polo Club and played at Empire Polo Club, this national arena tournament has attracted six 12- to 14-goal teams. They will compete for $50,000 in tournament prize money.

Featuring several intercollegiate/interscholastic alumni and champion arena and outdoor players, the U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship rosters promise a weekend of unrivaled competition.

This year’s competition includes six competitive teams. There are the four Team USPA alumni—Jared Sheldon (OC Polo Club), Jimmy Wright and Patrick Uretz (Paragon), and Molly Agee who unites with husband Garrett Bankhead on Bryce Catalyst.

Other talented competitors include 2018 NTYS Championship teammates Will Walton and Vaughn Miller (Dallas Polo), recent National Twenty Goal Champion Jason Crowder (101 Polo), and reigning Townsend Cup Champion, Pelon Escapite (BOOM! Cult), who will face-off against his brother Ulysses Escapite (OC Polo Club).

Both round robins and the final will be livestreamed exclusively on Global Polo TV at GlobalPolo.com. For live schedules and more information, find them here
