One thing is certain, it is a new team that will write its name on the cup of the Open de France Engel & Völkers in Chantilly.
It will be a new final between Polo Park Zürich, with members Morgan van Overbroek (2), Pearl Venot (4), Lucie Venot (4), and Elena Venot (6), and DS Automobiles DS Store St Maximin, composed of Romane Jamet (3), Ambre Ploix (3), Sandrine Dubois (3), and Anna- Maria Czekav (4).
The spectators of the Polo Club de Chantilly will see the two teams battle it out this Sunday, September 19 from noon onwards.
During the semi-final, Polo Park Zürich inflicted a heavy defeat on Maison Décalé, despite a good resistance from Lia Salvo and her team during the first three chukkers. But then, everything fell apart—and Polo Park Zürich went on to the final with 8 to 3.
Meanwhile, the penalty shoot-out between Maison Décalé and DS Automobiles DS Store St Maximin was held to determine who will proceed to the final. This is an exercise that always puts nerves to the test, and from which DS Automobiles DS Store St Maximin emerged victorious.
The Sunday final will be a moment of magic that concludes the prestigious competition. It will open with the Women’s final, followed by cocktails and lunch.
In the afternoon, the event will kick off with the Potrillos Cup, followed by the parade of the Open de France Engel & Völkers, before heading to the Open de France Engel & Völkers final. To close the tournament, the final of the Trophée Castel will take place.
Indeed, polo is a sport that makes one dream!
