Snow Polo World Cup Kitzbuhel Postpones 2022 Tournament

Kitzbühel Snow Polo World Cup postponed

Sad news to snow polo fans, as one of the biggest snow polo tournaments has declared its postponement. The Kitzbühel Snow Polo World Cup announced on November 30 that their 20th anniversary event will be moved to January 2023.

In a post on Instagram, they wrote their official statement. “It is with heavy hearts and regrets that we have decided to postpone the 20th anniversary of the BENDURA BANK SNOW POLO WORLD CUP, Kitzbühel,” the post began.

“Given the current and constantly changing travel bans and restrictions, it is simply not possible to successfully execute this event. These limitations and its uncertainty make it very difficult, if not impossible for our sponsors, clients, guests and players to attend this international World Class Event. It is with full awareness of this situation that we have made the decision, together with our title sponsor BENDURA BANK and our partner Kitzbühel Tourism to take this step.”

They ended the announcement in a hopeful note. “We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Kitzbühel from January 12th to 15th, 2023!”

So do not fret—before you know it, we will just be a few months away from this exciting tournament in Kitzbühel!
