Six ladies polo teams competed to win in the Elasten Ladies Cup 2021. Held at the PoloPark Berlin from July 16 to 18, players from all over the world flew over to snag the trophy for this edition.
Personalities from Hamburg, Nuremberg, the Black Forest, Chiemsee, Berlin, Nuremberg, Munich, Hanover, Bremen, Switzerland, the USA, and Argentina.
Some notable polo personalities that graced the games are international professional polo player Fatima Balzano, players from the Cambiaso family, and participants with the handicap of plus 6.
The referee was the team captain of the German polo national team and multiple German champion Christopher Kirsch.
For the tourney’s final, everyone witnessed a thrilling match between Ingo Pyko Immobilen, with Anne Grossmann (0), Philippa Luserke (3), Jasmin Bumanowski (3), and Marie Haupt (3), and Gothaer Versicherung by Karsten Topka, with Mona Scharf (3), Romy Grüner (3), Dele Iversen (3), and Jeanette Diekmann (3).
By the end of the match, the ladies from Ingo Pyko Immobilen won the victory with a score of 5 to 3.5.
All the games were moderated. The restaurant served all visitors with food and drinks on site. Access to the event was possible via the LUCA app. The Rolls Royce Bentley Enthusiastic Club from Berlin came to the final and accompanied the two winning teams as they broke in with two beautiful vintage cars. Ingo Pyko himself traveled to the event by helicopter.
