The action continues at the Polo Club of Chantilly in the 2021 Polo Rider Cup with matches between Moscow Polo Club and Hamburger Polo Club, Polo Club de Chantilly and Polo Park Zürich and Hong Kong Polo against Polo Club Düsseldorf on June 12.
The opening match of the third day started with a thrilling win of Hamburger Polo Club, with Caesar Crasemann (4), Heinrich Dumrath (4), Caspar Crasemann (4), and Daniel Crasemann (0), against Moscow Polo Club, with Gleb Fetisov (0), Misha Rodzianko (2), Simon Zavaleta (5), and Edouard Pan (5), by 11 to 9. At the end of the fourth chukker, Hamburger Polo Club had a 4 goals lead, but Edouard put emotion to the last chukker and narrowed the gap, scoring 3 goals. In the last seconds of the final chukker, Caspar secured the win for his team.
Polo Park Zürich, composed of Richard Harris (0), Elena Venot (1), Min Podesta (7), and Carlos Solari (4), defeated Polo Club de Chantilly, with Sam Sztarkman (1), Martin Joaquin (5), Jota Chavanne (5), and Alex Sztarkman (1), by 8 to 5 in the second game of the day. The first chukker started with two goals from Martin. But at the second chukker, Polo Park Zürich made a great comeback. The third chukker ended with a tie 4-4, but Min and Carlos, scoring two goals each, provided the victory to Polo Park Zürich.
In the closing game of the day, Hong Kong Polo, with Cyrille Costes (0), Thierry Vetois (3), Adrien Le Gallo (3), and Brieuc Rigaux (6), secured a win of 12 to 9 over Polo Club Düsseldorf, comprised of Otto Blank (0), Jesús Bordoni (2), Adrián Laplacette (6), and Miguel Amieva (4). The game was very tight during the first three chukkers, but an incredible performance by Brieuc in the last two chukkers gave the win to Hong Kong Polo.
